Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. She was a young girl at the time her father separated from the family. Brink was just 14 when she was pregnant and she dropped out of school. To support her family, she moved in with her son Davion after the birth. Brink began her first band Pulse that was located on the streets of Albany New York. The band mostly opened local concerts for groups like Coal Chamber and Sevendust. The band's members eventually separated. Brink relocated to Los Angeles in 2002, in her late 20s, looking for a big break. Brink was a regular in coffee shops, bars and in stores as she searched for the perfect band. Then, two years later, she met now-band member Chris Howorth at an audition. Howorth would not audition her because she was a woman. He quickly changed his opinion and apologized after listening to her performance. The band was created in the early part of Jeff Fabb and them, as well as guitarist Blake Bunzel. Later the guitarist Blake Bunzel joined the band together with bassist Josh Newell. The name of the group has been changed to In This Moment after two shows.
